@Victor Narl, yes, the BMW M3 E30 DTM is definitely supported. The download link on the scoreboard probably isn't generated because it's part of a car pack, but I'll look into that.
Victor Narl @2024-11-16 20:34:00 UTC
Sorry, I didn't see that this car was on the list, but for some reason in the record table for Default track, the yellow link to the BMW M3 E30 DTM is not displayed. I think it needs to be fixed.
Victor Narl @2024-11-16 20:21:53 UTC
@KyLiE, then this record for Default track: KDC22 1:25.80 BMW M3 E30 DTM (unsupported car) should be deleted as well.
KyLiE @2024-11-16 12:25:19 UTC
@Victor Narl, unfortunately, two of your replays for Default were made using unsupported cars. Another was rejected due to a crash, possibly as a result of using a modified version of the Porsche March Indy. The rest, however, have all been verified. Please have a look at the list of supported cars for future reference.
Duplode @2024-11-13 00:13:44 UTC
Anyway, time to get on the racetrack! It's a pleasant F40 ride. Waiting for your laps, @Argammon and @Victor Narl
Duplode @2024-11-07 10:39:42 UTC
Indeed, the NoRH game version produces subtly incompatible replays so that they can't be brought over to regular BB 1.1. The NTT cars and tracks are unmodified, though, so they can be used normally in the regular version (the behaviour is nearly the same, the difference between the versions being barely noticeable in live gameplay).
Victor Narl @2024-11-06 20:26:54 UTC
@Argammon, as for No Time Travel, I drove a few laps on the NoRH version, but it is some kind of special and for some reason the replays from it are not compatible with the regular version of BB 1.1 (and also incompatible for viewing with any other version of ) and accordingly, they cannot be published here.
Argammon @2024-11-06 16:17:42 UTC
I would also like to add that it is possible to drive NoRH at Race For Kicks if you prefer. Duplode, Cas, and alecu made use of that option last race and there is nothing that stops the DOSReloaded racers doing the same. — There are also occasional NoRH races here: No Time Travel
Duplode @2024-11-06 16:15:23 UTC
(P.S.: My reply just below refers to the latest messages by Alan and Victor, as opposed to the one by Argammon which was posted simultaneously with mine )

Which would be entirely understandable, as far as competitions are concerned. RH racing is a quite different way of playing and enjoying the game, which is not to everyone's taste. On a broader note, when I first had contact with DOSReloaded years ago, I hoped more of an interchange could develop between the communities, but they seem content with doing their own thing, which is also fair.
Argammon @2024-11-06 16:10:28 UTC
@Victor Narl, I competed there for a few races but lost interest because of the rule interpretation in 2023 — "Also die Regeln sind glaube ganz Klar: Auf dem Grünen zu Fahren ist verboten. Generell! Egal wieviel Auto noch auf der Straße ist." — implies that every pixel of your car must be on the track. I can deal with that rule on a track without sharp corners like "Tropico", but on a track with many sharp corners, ca. 95% of my laps go to the trash, which is frustrating.
Victor Narl @2024-11-06 05:48:21 UTC
@Alan Rotoi, I can ask them of course, but here I think the answer is obvious for them - they don't like competitions with the possibility of using RH, only real achievements that are in the .HIG table.
Alan Rotoi @2024-11-05 13:37:12 UTC
The question also is, why none of them participate in Race For Kicks or ZakStunts or simply in the forum?
Duplode @2024-11-05 00:41:52 UTC
@Victor Narl, Zak didn't write any of that article: he didn't visit DOSReloaded last year nor was involved in any way with the competition there. As for me, I actually joined several DOSReloaded races in the past. My views about rules did differ from the consensus that developed there last year, and as I didn't feel at ease with their interpretation, I chose to step back. I have no hard feelings about the DOSReloaded community, and personally I don't rule out showing up at their competition one of these days.
KyLiE @2024-11-04 13:54:17 UTC
@alecu, I've changed the style of your replay for Default to OWOOT since it qualifies.
KyLiE @2024-11-04 13:52:31 UTC
@Victor Narl, as @Duplode mentioned, GAR differs from OWOOT in a few specific ways. I've updated the Rules section so it no longer says that GAR replays are valid for OWOOT.
Victor Narl @2024-11-04 07:15:52 UTC
@Duplode, by the way, why does none of yours participate in the German forum on DOSReloaded.de? There is an unpleasant article by Zak on the wiki about this competition and it also concerns the racer mooh. For my part, I declare that the forum is 100% honest and based on mutual trust, therefore it is conducted without checking replays and the rules there are even stricter: TWOOT rules are used, but slalom blocks can also be jumped over like in GAR.
Duplode @2024-11-04 02:35:18 UTC
@Victor Narl, GAR was stricter than the other rule sets about most things, but it did allow jumping over slalom blocks. It is specifically the R4K OWOOT rules which forbid that. GAR evolved independently at ZakStunts, and so it differs in a few details. Here's a rundown of GAR as it was used at ZakStunts. KyLiE's Desert Spark replay, then, was a valid GAR lap, even though it wouldn't have been accepted in the main competition here due to that slalom.
Victor Narl @2024-11-03 05:10:19 UTC
@KyLiE, I see many GAR replays are not like that. For example, yours on the Desert Spark track is 100% not GAR and not even OWOOT, but only FOWOOT (jump over slalom block at 0:54:30).
